Swiss Cheese Chicken

Published August 26, 2012 by thepinkgourmet

This recipe only requires 6 ingredients.  It is very easy to put together as well.  The longest time in making this is cooking the chicken.  The flavors blend very well together.  It was very moist and had  a nice crunch to it.

Swiss Cheese Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 slices of Swiss cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. white wine
1 c. herb stuffing mix
1/2 c. melted butter Place chicken breasts in a greased 9×13 baking dish. Top each chicken breast with 2 slices of cheese. In a small bowl stir together soup and wine. Pour over chicken. In a separate bowl, melt butter and stir in stuffing mix. Pour over soup mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

The first step is to put the slices of  Swiss cheese on top of  your chicken breasts.  I did not have slices so I just sliced some pieces from a block of Swiss cheese I had.

Next you want to mix your cream of mushroom soup and wine together in a small bowl.

Pour the soup and wine mixture over your chicken breasts with the cheese on top.

Next, mix the melted butter with the stuffing mix.

Pour this mixture over the soup mixture.  Put in preheated 350 degree oven and bake for about 1 hour.

This is what it looks like after about 15 minutes.

Now doesn’t this look yummy!!

See, didn’t I tell you it was simple!  I served my chicken with green beans, but you could serve it with your favorite veggies or maybe some rice.  Remember this recipe when you want something easy, but tasty to make for dinner.

I give this recipe out of 4……
